Katz Can't Get Past Deeb
Niveau 9
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Four players went to a flop of 9♣K♣3♥ when Cary Katz, under the gun, moved all in for 221,000.
Two opponents quickly folded. "One more to go," a hopeful Katz said as action went on Shaun Deeb on the button. Deeb used up two time banks before he called.
Cary Katz: A♣4♣3♦2♣
Shaun Deeb: A♥K♠4♠2♥
"We share the same cards," Deeb said as he was ahead with a pair of kings but needed to fade Katz's flush draw. The board ran out 7♠6♠ and Katz missed everything.
"You always bust me," Katz said as he watched his chips absorbed into Deeb's stack.
"That's about the worst hand you could see," Deeb replied.
