Matakis Snaps Off Kenney
Niveau 16
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Ian Matakis raised to 70,000 from the hijack and was called by Bryn Kenney on the button and Freddy Deeb in the big blind.
The flop came 10♥3♦8♦ and Matakis continued for 90,000. Kenney then shoved all in for around 180,000, Deeb folded, and Matakis snap-called.
Bryn Kenney: J♦J♣7♥7♦
Ian Matakis: K♠Q♦10♣8♣
Matakis had made two pair to outflop the jacks of Kenney and improved to a full house on the 10♠ turn. The river came the A♥ and Kenney was eliminated, much to the delight of tablemate Shaun Deeb who had been verbally jousting with Kenney for much of the day.
