Emmerson Next to Fall
Niveau 16
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Robert Emmerson three-bet to 250,000 in the big blind and Dash Dudley called in early position. The flop came 8♠2♦Q♥ and Emmerson got his last few chips in the middle as Dudley snap-called.
Robert Emmerson: K♦K♠Q♠2♠
Dash Dudley: 10♣9♠6♠6♣
Dudley was on a straight draw and connected with the J♣ turn to crack the kings of Emmerson. The river came an inconsequential A♥ and Dudley, who finished second to Robert Cowen in this event last year, sent Emmerson to the rail.
