Soverel Goes For It

Niveau 19 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Jesse Lonis raised to 210,000 and was called by Matthew Wantman before Sam Soverel, on the button, potted to 930,000.

"How could I not bust this hand," Soverel said as Lonis called. Wantman got out of the way and the flop came 29Q. Lonis immediately put Soverel all in, and Soverel called for his last 430,000.

Sam Soverel: AQ109
Jesse Lonis: 9865

Soverel was ahead with two pair as the board ran out J7, improving him to a straight and securing his double up near the money bubble.

"You really went for it, dude," tablemate Noah Schwartz told him following the hand.
