Marsico Takes Out Two on Consecutive Hands
Niveau 20
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Anthony Marsico bet 100,000 from the small blind on a flop of 8♦8♠5♥ before big blind Gergo Nagy potted to 580,000, committing most of his stack. Marsico put him all in and Nagy called off his last chips.
Gergo Nagy: 9♣9♠7♥4♥
Anthony Marsico: J♠J♣8♥4♦
Marsico had flopped trip eights and stayed in front on the Q♥ turn and 7♠ river to send Nagy to the rail.
Marsico was still stacking his chips from that pot when Tyler Brown raised to 250,000 the next hand. Marsico potted on the button to 800,000 and Brown called all in for less.
Tyler Brown: K♥Q♥Q♣2♦
Anthony Marsico: A♥A♣10♣8♣
Marsico had woken up with aces and Brown couldn't improve on the 7♥5♦10♠J♦6♦ board as he joined Nagy at the payout desk.
