Hendrix Hauls A Double
Niveau 22
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Adam Hendrix raised to 420,000 from the cutoff and button Jesse Lonis announced a minimum raise to 720,000. Only Hendrix made the call, leaving himself just shy of 200,000 chips back.
The flop was dealt 4♥7♥9♣ and the rest of Hendrix's stack went in the middle.
Adam Hendrix: K♦Q♥J♥3♦
Jesse Lonis: A♣Q♣5♠2♠
Neither player had something as of yet, but Hendrix had a flush draw, which came in on the K♥ turn. The 6♦ river was useless as Lonis had no outs left to hit, and Hendrix raked in a double-up in this volatile stage of the tournament.
