In a limped pot to the 10♠9♦4♦ flop, Anthony Marsico and Adam Hendrix got their chips into the middle and turned over their cards.

Marsico was behind with the middle pair and nut flush draw while Hendrix held the top pair, wrap and queen-high diamond draw.
The board completed with the 4♥ turn and 4♣ river as Marsico doubled for 1,170,000 with ... ace-nine high.
Following a raise by Tyler Smith and a call by Aaron Katz, both players invested 300,000 on the Q♥7♦3♥ flop with Smith leading and Katz calling. Smith then bet the 6♦ turn for 800,000 and Katz announced all-in. Before the exact count was done, Smith made the call and the biggest pot of the tournament so far unfolded.

Katz was ahead with two pair and a diamond flush draw while Smith had top pair with one live overcard and the nut heart flush draw. When the 8♥ came on the river, Katz started counting his stack for a double before he realised the horror. By winning that large pot, Smith further increased his lead while Katz was ousted in 19th place.
Jonas Kronwitter raised to 350,000 on the button as Robert Cowen, who had less behind, got up to look around at the stacks on the other tables before calling for his last 165,000. Big blind Eelis Parssinen also called.
The flop came J♣K♠A♥ and Kronwitter's bet of 200,000 got rid of Parssinen, leaving him heads-up against Cowen.

Cowen had flopped top set to take a big lead in the hand as the 5♠ turn gave Kronwitter the nut flush draw. He completed the flush on the 10♠ river and the defending champion was sent to the rail in 20th place thanks to that bad beat.
Bogdan Capitan got his 775,000 stack in against Isaac Haxton preflop and was at risk.

Capitan was ahead with his kings, but Haxton flopped a set on A♠9♦5♠. The 10♥ turn gave Haxton a full house and the 7♥ river saw Capitan sail away in 21st place.
Anthony Marsico raised to 300,000 in the hijack and Aaron Katz three-bet to 850,000 on the button. It folded back to Marsico and he checked the own stack before making the call.
The A♠8♣5♦ flop was checked by Marsico and Katz bet the pot to force a snap-fold from Marsico, who was shown the A♦ by Katz.
Jesse Lonis had just lost a pot when he open-raised to 300,000 from the cutoff. Isaac Haxton was in the small blind and made a three-bet to 1,000,000, which Lonis called.
The flop was 5♦8♦2♣ and Haxton pushed all in for 1,420,000 chips. Before the dealer could finish counting Haxton's stack, however, Lonis made the fold and chipped down some more.
After several raise-and-take-it hands on all tables, Jonas Kronwitter opened to 250,000 from under the gun. Elias Harala in the small blind and James Park in the big blind called.
The trio checked the K♣Q♦4♥ flop and the 7♥ followed on the turn. It checked to Kronwitter and his pot-sized bet of 850,000 resulted in two instant folds.
[Removed:508] raised to 250,000 from middle position and received a call from big stack Jesse Lonis. The flop fell 10♥9♣8♦ and the rest of Crivello's chips went into the middle, looked up by Lonis.

Both players flopped a straight, but Lonis had the nuts while Crivello only had the bottom end. With only a runner-runner outs as an option to survive, the board bricked out and Crivello was eliminated.
PJ Cha raised to 330,000 in the hijack, leaving just one chip behind, as action folded to Eelis Parssinen in the big blind who called after a brief tank.
The flop came 6♣J♣K♥ and Cha threw in his last chip after Parssinen led out with a bet.

Eelis Parssinen: Q♥6♥3♦2♣
Parssinen was narrowly ahead with a pair of sixes while Cha had straight draws. The 3♣ turn helped neither player, and Parssinen made trips on the 6♦ river to send Cha out in 23rd place.
