Ivey Fires Three Times

Phil Ivey raised to 16,000 from middle position, with the big blind defending.

The flop came Q♣10♣10♦, and the big blind checked. Ivey bet 12,000 before the big blind raised to 31,000. Ivey made the call.

The 3♣ came on the turn, and again action was checked to Ivey. This time he bet 60,000, with the big blind raising once more to 132,000. Ivey took a few moments before tossing in the call.

A small crowd gathered at the rail as the 2♠ fell on the river. The big blind looked at his cards before checking once more. Ivey announced that he was all in, and the big blind folded immediately. Ivey pulled in a huge pot to add to his ever-growing stack.

On a four-way flop of 2♣8♠10♥, action checked around to the button who bet 25,000. Only Harry Lodge in the small blind made the call while Benny Glaser and the other player folded for them to go heads-up to the turn 9♦.

Both players decided to check this street as well as the 9♠ river at which point Lodge flipped over J♦10♦ for two pair and the button quickly mucked to award him the pot, boosting him to 325000.

Hellmuth Finds a Fold

Action checked through the A♦6♠9♠ flop to the A♠ turn at which point the big blind checked again. Hellmuth bet 9,000 only to see his opponent raise to 21,500. After some thought, Hellmuth folded, cautioning the big blind to be "easy buddy, easy" as he did so.

Fans Welcome to Attend Tomorrow's Celebration of Life for Doyle Brunson

Fans are welcome to come to celebrate the life of the late poker legend Doyle Brunson at Horseshoe Las Vegas on July 2 at 11:30 a.m.

Many high-profile poker players will speak at the memorial, which will take place inside the Jubilee Theater near the Horseshoe poker room, about a two-minute walk from the World Series of Poker (WSOP) tournament area.

Brunson, a 10-time WSOP bracelet winner and 1988 Poker Hall of Fame inductee, passed away last month at 89. He left behind quite a legacy in poker and will forever be remembered as one of the all-time greats.

Some former Brunson opponents and long-time friends such Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth, and Dewey Tomko will speak at the event. Jack Binion, former owner of Binion's Horseshoe, the original site of the WSOP, will also give a speech.

Kabrhel "Plays Awesome"

A player from under the gun moved all in for 26,000 and it folded to the cutoff who raised to 200,000. Martin Kabrhel tanked for close to two minutes before the clock was called and he was given 20 seconds to act. With one second remaining, Kabrhel called for his last 51,500 total. The rest of the table folded and the cards were on their backs.

The board ran out A♦K♥Q♠2♣5♦ and Kabrhel made two pair to score the knock out and double up through the big stack.

"I played that awesome! Don't you think PokerNews?" asked Kabrhel as he gathered his chips.

"Write that down, I played it so awesome," joked Kabrhel.
