Kelsall Gets a Second Life
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Andrew Kelsall opened to 3,000 from early position and was called by Daniel Negreanu on the button. A player in the big blind then three-bet to 12,500 with Kelsall responding by moving all in for 16,200. Negreanu just called as did the big blind to put Kelsall at risk.
The flop came Q♥4♠3♠, prompting the big blind to check to Negreanu who potted for 50,100. That got a fold from the big blind and the cards were on their backs.
Andrew Kelsall: A♠10♣6♠5♣
Daniel Negreanu: A♣Q♣6♦3♣
Negreanu was ahead with his pair of queens but Kelsall had a flush draw and managed to hit without a low being put on the board to secure a full triple up and second life in the tournament.
