Shifrel Takes Huge Pot to Triple Up
Niveau 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
PokerNews arrived at the table as the pot was awarded to David Shifrel in the big blind.
The board was showing 10♦9♣2♠7♥3♦ and all of the money went in on the flop with Shifrel at risk for 48,200. Shifrel tabled 2♣2♦ for a flopped set of deuces which cracked the cutoff's A♠A♣ and the small blind missed their open-ender with Q♠J♦.
The cutoff received a small side-pot, while the small blind's stack was decimated.
