Eames Outkicks Opponent to More Than Double Up
Niveau 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
John Eames raised to 5,000 on the button and the player in the big blind three-bet to 17,500.
Eames responded with an all in and his opponent put in the call.
John Eames: A♣J♦
Big Blind: A♥10♥
Eames found himself in a favorable spot to double up and would do just that on the final runout of 9♦Q♣5♥2♣A♦. Both players made top pair with aces, but it was the jack kicker of Eames that would secure him the pot.
