Walsh Makes Move on Dangerous Board
Niveau 12
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Thomas Walsh bet 7,000 from under the gun, and the button made the call.
The flop came J♦Q♦8♠. Walsh quickly checked, and his opponent fired for 17,000, which Walsh called.
The 10♥ peeled off on the turn, and Walsh again checked to his opponent, who this time fired for 23,500. Walsh again made the call.
The river was the 9♠ to complete the straight on the board. Walsh jammed all in for 42,000 and his opponent contemplated before folding. Walsh showed K♥Q♣, while his opponent claimed that he "got lucky," saying he had AxQx, which had Walsh dominated most of the way through the hand.
