A PokerNews reporter witnessed the aftermath of the carnage to see Adam Weber tripling up and raking in a pot of 73,000.
On a board of K♦Q♠7♠10♥5♥, Weber, who is sporting a leprechaun mascot head as a hat, tabled J♥9♠ after moving all in on the turn for 26,500. His opponents both had the same hand, the big blind had K♠10♠ and under the gun with K♣10♣.
Weber revealed that his buy-in was provided by his golfing buddies under the proviso that he has to wear the mascot head for the entirety of the tournament.
