Weber Hoping to Find his Pot of Gold

Niveau 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

A PokerNews reporter witnessed the aftermath of the carnage to see Adam Weber tripling up and raking in a pot of 73,000.

On a board of KQ7105, Weber, who is sporting a leprechaun mascot head as a hat, tabled J9 after moving all in on the turn for 26,500. His opponents both had the same hand, the big blind had K10 and under the gun with K10.

Weber revealed that his buy-in was provided by his golfing buddies under the proviso that he has to wear the mascot head for the entirety of the tournament.

He was instructed by the tournament staff that he cannot obstruct his face whilst in a hand, hence why it is balanced on top of his head.
