Walsh On The Rise

Niveau 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Aidan Walsh bet 125,000 from early position and was called by David Peters on the button. Armando Mesina in the big blind moved all in for 2,300,000. Walsh under-called for 1,850,000 and Peters folded.

Aidan Walsh: QQ
Armando Mesina: 55

It was arguably a gutsy play by Mesina that didn't work out as he ran into Walsh's ladies. A clean runout of A79K2 secured Walsh the pot and moves him toward the top of the chip standings.

Christian Cooper bet 100,000 from the hijack and was called by Jonah Labranche in the big blind.

The flop came AQ7 and both players checked. A 4 turn invited Cooper to bet 100,000, which was called by Labranche.

Copper bet 150,000 on the 3 river and Labranche said, "You have king-queen don't you? Show it," before folding his hand. Cooper decided to show an A, which alone was better than Labranche was expecting.
