Kyriakides Stays Alive with Double-Up
Niveau 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
The under-the-gun player limped only to see the middle position player raise to 2,000. A player in late position called as did Justin Kyriakides from the cutoff and the player under the gun to see a 10♠K♦8♠ flop.
Action checked to Kyriakides, who went all in with the under-the-gun player doing the same behind him, convincing the other players to fold. Kyriakides was at risk of elimination.
Justin Kyriakides: K♠K♥Q♣5♣
Under The Gun: 10♦8♦6♣2♣
The turn and river came the 9♠ and 5♦, and Kyriakides' set of kings held.
