Bognanni Trumps Kurtz's Jacks
Niveau 24
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
After some preflop aggression, David Kurtz and Marco Bognanni managed to get all the chips into the middle, with Kurtz at risk.
David Kurtz: J♦J♣
Marco Bognanni: A♣8♣
Kurtz was a favorite going into this battle, but the flop of A♥4♥K♠ was not his friend as Marco Bognanni instantly took the lead with his ace. The runout of 7♠2♠ failed to improve Kutz and he was eliminated from the tournament.
