The players are now on their first 20-minute break of the day and will return to action shortly. So far 783 players have registered for this event, with projections of well over 1,500.
Under the gun raised to 800 and six players called. The player under the gun told PokerNews, "You are going to have to collect a lot of names."
The flop came down 9♣2♥J♣ and everyone checked to Joe Teanotoga on the button, who placed a bet of 3,500 and received a call from the original raiser and a player in early position.
The turn brought the Q♦. The original raiser checked and the early position player decided to take a stab and bet 5,000. Teanotoga made the call.
On the river 10♣ the early position player this time bet 7,000 and Teanotoga snap-called. The early position player mucked before even seeing Teanotoga's 7♣8♣ for a straight flush.

The board read 10♠10♦2♦9♥ after the turn and Eric Vogler checked over to Christopher Lee, who bet 5,000 into a pot of around 9,000.
Vogler made the call and the two went to the river J♦, where Vogler led out for 7,000.
Lee thought about it for a few moments and threw in the necessary chips to make the call.
"I got an ace," Vogler declared. Lee then flipped over A♦J♥ to claim the pot

On a three-way flop of 6♠4♠7♣, David Fhima and Ali Shahni both checked over to Terry Fleischer, who bet 2,000. Fhima then check-raised to 8,000.
Shahni decided that wasn't quite enough, however, and reraised to 20,000 (67 big blinds), to which Fleischer and Fhima begrudgingly folded.
"So much action in Level 3" tablemate Vanessa Castro shouted as the chips were pushed Shahni's way.

In the first hand Khalifa Tayar raised to 500 from under the gun and the player in the hijack three-bet to 900. Tayar made the call saying, "You made it so cheap, I have to call." The flop came out 8♦9♦J♥ and both players checked.
The turn J♥ and the river 2♦ were both checked through. The hijack stated, "You are good" and Tayar showed A♣Q♣ for ace high and scooped the pot.
On the second hand the player under the gun raised to 800 and Tayar, who was in middle position, made the call. A late position player also came along. The flop was 4♦5♥K♠ and all three players checked.
The turn brought the 6♠ and the player under the gun placed a delayed continuation bet of 1,500 and Tayar opted for a reraise to 3,500. The late position player got out of the way and the player under the gun made the call.
On the river 8♣, despite the previous raise by Tayar, the player under the gun led out for 8,000. Tayar talked to the player, saying, "I told you I'm not bluffing," but got no response.
Tayar then got the answer he was looking for by making the call.
Under the gun had 8♠9♠ for a pair of eights. Tayar quickly flipped over 4♠4♥ for the set and the win.

On a completed board of Q♦J♠8♦9♠A♠, there was already around 15,000 in the pot when Ryan Plant bet 12,600 into his heads-up opponent, Girish Reknar.
Reknar thought about it for a short time but then made the call and tabled Q♠9♥ for two pair. Unfortunately for him, it was no match for Plant's K♦10♥ for a rivered straight to take down the substantial pot.
"I mean I have two pair," Reknar said, throwing up his hands as the chips were pushed to Plant. "I cannot get away."

Diego Vaz Sorgatto raised to 500 from the hijack and received a call from the cutoff, the button, the small blind and the big blind. The flop came out 9♣2♣6♠ and once checked to Sorgatto, he bet 2,000 and three players dropped out with only the player in the cutoff sticking around.
The turn Q♥ had both players check.
Then on the river 9♥ Sorgatto turned on the super-aggression and placed all his chips firmly into the middle for about 35,000. The cutoff took some time and folded.
