Eychenne Rivers a Pair to Catch Polk Bluffing
Niveau 18
: 1,500/3,000, 0 ante
Thomas Eychenne limped in on the button and Doug Polk raised to 10,000 in the big blind. Eychenne just called and the flop of J♠6♠3♥ hit the felt. Polk continued with a "devil's bet" of 6,600 and Eychenne called.
The turn was the 2♣ and Polk sized up another bet of 24,000. Eychenne still called and the K♥ rolled off on the river. Polk jammed all in and Eychenne snapped off his last 61,500 chips.
Polk flipped over 8♥5♥ for air while Eychenne rivered a pair of kings with K♣Q♦ to scoop the pot.
