Niveau 9 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Phil Ivey raised to 9,000 on the button and John Smith three-bet to 35,000 in the big blind. Ivey contemplated for a moment and got some advice from Smith.

"Put it in," Smith said with a smile. Ivey obliged and shoved all in which was quickly called by Smith for his last 80,600 chips.

John Smith: AQ
Phil Ivey: A10

The board ran out A43J5 and Smith's kicker was enough to earn a double-up through Ivey.

Yu Doesn't Want to See the Bad News

Niveau 9 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Stephen Chidwick on the button limped in and Benjamin Yu in the big blind checked his option to reveal a flop of 785. Both players checked this hand down and went to a turn.

The 2 saw Yu bet 8,000 chips into the middle, called by Chidwick.

The K on the river slowed proceedings as both players checked the hand to a showdown. Yu out of position obliged to show first simply mucked his cards conceding the pot. Chidwick smirked as he too slid his cards facedown and raked in the pot.

D'Ambrosio Shoves the River on Kempton

Niveau 9 : 2,000/4,000, 0 ante

Jimmy D'Ambrosio bet 4,000 on a flop of 3AJ and Isaac Kempton called.

"Same bet," D'Ambrosio said, betting another 4,000 on the Q turn. Kempton called to the 8 river, where D'Ambrosio now moved all in.

Kempton eventually folded as D'Ambrosio raised his arms in the air. "Yes," he yelled out. "I didn't think you had an ace. You couldn't have an ace. An ace, I think you call, right," he asked Kempton, who nodded his head.

Adrian Mateos was starting to build a lead on Dominik Nitsche when the two players opted to get all of the chips in the middle preflop. Nitsche was the player at risk for around 80,000 and started with the best hand.

Dominik Nitsche: AJ

The flop came 985 and Nitsche was still in front with his ace-high. However, the Q on the turn vaulted Mateos to the lead and the 8 on the river changed nothing.
