Kniep Doubles Up
Niveau 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Andreas Kniep went all in from the cutoff, for 47,000 — and was called by the big blind, who covered.
Andreas Kniep: J♥10♠
Big Blind: K♣K♦
The flop fell 8♦6♦9♠ giving Kniep an open-ended straight draw. A Q♥ on the turn instantly completed that draw and Kniep celebrated good-naturedly.
The river was a meaningless K♠, though Kniep did point out that the board would have been a lot more interesting, if it had it run out the other way round.
