Kunlee Gets the Double
Niveau 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
A player in early position raised to 5,000 and David Peters made the call from middle position. The player to Peters' right, Kyung Kunlee, then moved all in for 17,500, with the original raiser reshoving and Peters folding.
Kyung Kunlee: 9♠9♥
Early Position Player: 7♥7♣
Kunlee connected with the 9♣10♥6♥ flop, but an eight would complete a straight for the early position player.
However, the Q♠ on the turn and the 7♦ on the river, although making the early position player a set of sevens, wasn't enough to overcome the set of nines of Kunlee.
