Riordan Finds Lucky River to Grab Pot
Niveau 18
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Oliver Weis bet 20,000 from middle position and was called by John Riordan in the big blind.
Both players checked the flop of J♠8♥8♦, but Weis bet 15,000 on the 4♣ turn which was called by Riordan. The A♠ completed the board and both players checked. Riordan turned over A♣7♥ for aces and eights, while a frustrated Weis, who was leading until the river, tabled K♦K♥.
