Arani Scores Knockout
Niveau 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Mohammad Arani opened to 9,000 from middle position before a player in the big blind moved all in for their last 69,000. After asking for a count, Arani made the call with the covering stack to put his opponent at risk.
Big Blind Player: Q♠10♠
Mohammad Arani: 7♦7♣
It was a coinflip but one that Arani looked set to win after the flop came 2♥A♦7♠. The 3♠ turn did give the at risk player a flush draw but it did not come in on the Q♣ river to hand Arani the pot and knockout.
