August Catches Ace From Space to Double
Niveau 28
: Limits 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Limit Hold'em
Leonard August raised from the small blind and Calvin Anderson defended the big blind.
August checked over to Anderson on the 7♠Q♥K♥ flop and Anderson bet.
August put in the check-raise, then called off his remaining chips after Anderson responded with a four-bet.
Leonard August: A♣9♠
Calvin Anderson: K♣3♣
August would need an ace or running straight cards to survive and wouldn't have to wait long as the dealer peeled off the A♥ on the turn.
The 10♦ on the river would seal it for August and give him the full double.
