Nick Guagenti raised in early position before Volodymyr Kondratenko reraised in the cutoff. Guagenti called and they went heads-up to the 6♣J♥3♣ flop.
Kondratenko bet again and Guagenti called. The turn came the 2♦ and this time Guagenti led out with a bet.
Kondratenko called to the 9♠ river and Guagenti tossed out another bet. Kondratenko again called and Guagenti showed A♦9♦3♠2♠ for two pair to win the pot.
Stud Hi-Lo 8 or Better
Andrew Yeh: XxXx/5♣4♦Q♥7♠/Xx
Ari Engel: XxXx/8♠8♦3♥10♥/Xx
Andrew Yeh and Ari Engel were heads-up on sixth street when Yeh bet and Engel called.
Yeh bet again on seventh, sending Engel into the tank. "Nines and fives," Engel asked.
"Nines and fives? How did you come up with that? I'll lay 100-1 he doesn't have nines and fives," tablemate Mike Matusow said.
Engel eventually called and Yeh turned over A♥A♦2♣ to win the pot after Engel mucked.
Matusow is currently nursing a short stack of around 70,000, but he's not worried. "In my wheelhouse. This is where I've been all summer," he said as the hand progressed.
Seven Card Stud
Walter Treccarichi: XxXx/J♠3♥9♥Q♣/Xx
Leonard August: XxXx/5♣Q♥5♠A♠/Xx
Au Ho: XxXx/6♦6♥7♥K♦/Xx
Walter Treccarichi raised all in on third street before Leonard August three-bet. Au Ho called to create a side pot before leading out on fourth.
August called, then called another bet on fifth. August raised a bet on sixth, Ho reraised, and August called.
"This is going to be a fun one," August said heading to seventh, where he just called after Ho bet, leaving 20,000 behind.
"Four sixes are good," August told him, but Ho only showed 5♦5♥ for two pair. August turned over A♦A♥7♠ for a full house, aces and fives, as he won the massive pot to bust Treccarichi.
Ho was eliminated on the next hand. Allen Kessler was also eliminated at the same time at another table.
Omaha 8 or Better
Jen Harman moved all-in for less than a full raise from early position and was called by Victor Ramdin in the small blind.
Jen Harman: A♣Q♣6♠6♦
Victor Ramdin: Q♥9♣8♠8♦
Although they shared a queen, Ramdin's eights were slightly ahead going into the flop.
However, Harman would scoop the pot after an ace fell on the turn, for a final runout of 2♠3♥K♣A♦5♣.
At another table, Hye Park was eliminated.
Stud
Calvin Anderson completed while Ray Fishman raised his short stack all in which saw action fold back around to Anderson called.
Ray Fishman: 9♠9♦8♦A♦6♣Q♥8♥
Calvin Anderson: A♣2♣J♣A♠5♠7♥7♠
Fishman's two pair was rendered no good against Anderson's better two pair and the young mixed game player exited the tournament in the money.
At the same table shortly after, John Farrell Clancy was eliminated in Stud as well.
Razz
Robert Schuler: XxXx/8x4x9x
Barbara Enright: XxXx/2xJx9x
John Kabbaj: XxXx/2xJx10x - folded
Robert Schuler was all in on third street as Barbara Enright and John Kabbaj went to fourth in a side pot.
Both players checked fourth before Enright bet on fifth. Kabbaj quickly folded.
Enright finished with Ax6x6x7x, but Schuler caught Ax3x5xQx for an 8-5-4-3-A to triple up.
"Nice to win a pot off you," Schuler told Enright.
