Yankov Makes Running Quads, Back in the Game
It was a rough start for Krasimir Yankov who took his seat just before the first break of the day. He was down to just 21,000 chips off a starting stack of 60,000. However, he just recently received a full double up, putting himself right back in the thick of things.
Yankov raised it up from middle position and was called by both of the blinds. The flop came J♣7♣3♠ and Yankov continued with a bet of 1,100. Both of the blinds just called and the 8♥ peeled off on the turn.
The blinds checked again and Yankov flicked in a bet of 3,000. The small blind called and Stuart Wilkinson in the big blind raised to 8,300. Yankov jammed all in for 17,800 which got the small blind to fold and Wilkinson called.
Yankov turned over 8♣8♦ for a set of eights which had Wilkinson drawing slim with J♠3♣ for two pair. The river was the 8♠ and Yankov improved to quads for a double up.
