Tardif Takes Small Hit Late
Niveau 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Patrick Tardif opened to 7,000 in the small blind and was called by his opponent in the big blind.
Tardif continued for 5,500 following the 8♦6♣5♥ flop with the big blind just calling once more.
Action checked through the 3♥ turn to the 9♦ river at which point both players checked again. Tardif turned over 4♥3♣ but it came up short against the 10♠8♠ of the big blind, dealing Tardif a very minor blow in the closing stages of the day.
