Koveh Waysei bet 50,000 from the cutoff on a flop of 7♣2♥10♦ before Nicholas Gerrity, in the big blind, raised to 165,000. Waysei called to the J♦ turn.
Gerrity then continued betting, this time for 275,000, and Waysei called once again. The river came the 8♥ and Gerrity fired out 335,000.
Waysei spent a few minutes in the tank counting out his stack and rechecking his cards before folding. "If you shoved, I don't know what I would've done," Gerrity told him, showing J♠8♠ for running two pair as he took the pot.
"So lucky. You have no idea," Waysei added.
"That's what we're all trying to do here, get lucky," Gerrity replied.
