Sachs Makes a Tricky Fold
Toby Lewis opened to 100,000 from under the gun and was called by Stephen Friedrich in middle position. Jacob Sachs then three-bet to 475,000 in the cutoff and received a call from Lewis but a fold from Friedrich.
Action checked through the J♥K♣7♣ flop to the 4♥ turn at which point Lewis led out for a chunky 750,000. Sachs just called.
The river came Q♠, prompting Lewis to bet enough to force Sachs all in. Sachs gave the matter at hand some thought but did decide on a fold to put a substantial dent in his stack. It turned out to be a tough, but correct, fold as Sachs held A♦K♠ for top-top while Lewis had K♥K♦ for top set.
