Firestone's Pair Holds True
Niveau 13
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Under the gun opened the action to 8,000 and the small blind and big blind made the call.
The flop came down J♣7♦3♠ and under the gun bet out 9,000. Eric Firestone check-raised from the small blind to 22,000, getting the big blind out of the way, but under the gun came along for a turn card.
The 6♠ peeled off, and the action went check-check. A 2♥ on the river resulted in a check-check again, and Firestone won with a surprising A♦3♦.
