Pastore Snaps Off Two
Niveau 20
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Pierce McKellar moved all in for 105,000 in the cutoff, John Thornton reshoved for 300,000 in the small blind, and Jonathan Pastore snap-called in the big blind to put both players at risk.
Pierce McKellar: K♠9♥
John Thornton: Q♦J♥
Jonathan Pastore: A♥K♥
The 7♠10♠J♣ flop gave Thornton the lead with a pair of jacks, while the turn was the 5♥. The Q♥ fell on the river and Pastore improved to a straight to send both players to the rail.
At the same time at another table, Robert Zeidman was eliminated when he ran his A♥5♥ into the pocket aces of Halil Tasyurek.
