Cohen Scoops Huge Pot to Assume Chip Lead
Niveau 27
: Limits 150,000/300,000, 0 ante
Jonathan Cohen raised on the button and was three-bet by Calvin Anderson in the small blind. Scott Seiver called cold in the big blind and Cohen called as well.
Anderson continued for a bet on the 3♣2♦9♦ flop and Seiver called. Cohen raised and Anderson made it three bets to go. Seiver and Cohen both called.
The 3♠ came on the turn and Anderson kept his foot on the gas for a bet. Seiver called, Cohen raised, and both Anderson and Seiver came along.
It was checked to Cohen on the K♣ river and he put his remaining few chips into the middle. Anderson called and Seiver folded.
Cohen tabled 9♣5♥4♠3♥ for trip threes, which was best against Anderson's A♣A♦10♣4♥ for aces with a missed low and Cohen dragged the monster pot.
