Life Outside Poker is a new podcast for PokerNews hosted by Connor Richards that seeks to pull back the curtain on poker players and allow viewers and listeners to get to know them on a personal level.
For the fifth episode, Connor spoke with South Florida crusher Raminder Singh about his nearly one hundred live tournament victories, moving to the US from India and running a business full time. He also shared his strategies for various tournament stages and gave Connor a tour of his one-of-a-kind poker trophy collection.
This interview took place inside Singh's South Florida home during the World Poker Tour (WPT) Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood, Florida.

Dirksen took one, while Wells drew two. Dirksen then bet and Wells called.
Both players drew one and Dirksen bet again. Wells called and took one, while Dirksen stood pat.
Dirksen bet and Wells called. Dirksen then turned over 8-6-5-4-3 and Wells mucked.
Arthur Morris recently busted at this table, which also includes Ray Fishman and Daniel Negreanu.

Max Hoffman and Jordan Siegel were heads up on a completed board of Q♣10♥7♣K♦2♥. With each player already having put in 23,000 chips in total, Hoffman shoved all in for 48,500 chips.
Siegel went deep into the tank, but eventually he came out with a call.
Hoffman tabled J♠J♣7♠6♥4♥ for an attempted bluff with his jacks, while Siegel showed K♠Q♠9♥7♦2♠ for two pair, resulting in Hoffman's elimination from the tournament.

Heads-up on a board of 10♣K♠7♦K♦, Dylan Linde bet 17,000 from the cutoff and Nick Guagenti called in the big blind.
The river was the 6♣ and Linde bet 60,000. Guagenti snap-called, only to be shown K♥J♠ for trip kings as Linde took down the pot.

Jon Turner: 9♠7♠/9♥7♦A♥5♥/A♦ 
Phil Ivey: J♦2♦/4♣3♦5♠Q♣/J♣
Jon Turner completed with a nine up before Phil Ivey two-bet with his four. Turner made the call and check-called Ivey's bet on fourth street as well.
Turner then took the beating lead once he caught on ace on fifth street, and he piled in one more bet for an all-in.
Turner caught one of Ive'ys straight outs with an ace on seventh street, and his two pair was good enough for a double-up as Ivey turned over a useless jack.

Pot-Limit Omaha
Heads-up on a flop of 2♣5♦K♥, Ben Lamb bet 10,500 from the button and Anthony Zinno called in the big blind.
The turn was the A♦ and Lamb bet 25,000. Zinno spent a minute in the tank before sliding in a tower of chips, representing a raise of around 60,000. Lamb snap-folded.
Elsewhere, Phil Hellmuth just doubled up off Arthur Morris in another Pot-Limit Omaha hand, boosting his stack close to 200,000 while knocking Morris down to a short stack.

Jared Bleznick bet on the first draw and both Jerry Wong and Max Kruse called.
Wong and Kruse took two, while Bleznick stood pat and bet. Kruse called, but Wong raised. Both opponents called.
Wong and Kruse patted and Bleznick took one. Wong then bet, Bleznick folded, while Kruse called.
Wong showed 7-6-5-3-2 and Kruse mucked.

Jared Bleznick raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and was called by Nick Schulman in the big blind.
Both players went on to check the A♥Q♥A♣ flop before Schulman fired 5,500 on the J♥ turn. Bleznick came along with the call and made a bet of 17,000 on the J♦ river once Schulman had checked.
Schulman thought it over for a few moments before sticking in a call, after which Bleznick showed 8♦3♦, playing the board.
Schulman tabled K♣10♦ for two pair with a better kicker and added some more chips to his stack.
