Fast and Furious Bounty Action Expected in Event #14: $1,000 Super Turbo Bounty

Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2024 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees the start of Event #14: $1,000 Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold'em here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.

This single-day event gets underway at 10 a.m. local time with late registration open for 10 levels. There will be 20-minute breaks every six levels, with a 60-minute dinner break after Level 21 (~6 p.m.)

The starting stack is 20,000 and levels are 20 minutes long. Each player will receive $300 from the prize pool for every player they eliminate. However, players are unable to redeem these until after 4 p.m. on Day 1. This tournament will play down to a winner today.

Last year's event saw 2,854 entries generate a prize pool of $2,513,360. The winner was Gabriel Schroeder, who defeated Joel Wertheimer heads up to win $$228,632, along with 15 $300 bounties and his first WSOP bracelet.
