Kent Sends Ivey to the Rail
Niveau 16
: Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
As retold by Kevin Kent:
Phil Ivey opened 15,000 in early position and called a pot-size raise of 51,000 from Kevin Kent in the small blind.
When the Q♠9♥3♥ flop hit the felt, Kent announced pot and Ivey called off his remaining stack of about 120,000.
Phil Ivey: 10♥9♣8♥6♣
Kevin Kent: A♠A♣5♥4♠
Ivey was unable to improve as the board completed with the 2♦ turn and the 3♣ river, sending him to the payout desk.
