Aces for Derkowski
Niveau 17
: Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Grzegorz Derkowski opened to 23,000 from the hijack and found only one customer in the form of Kevin Kent to his left.
The flop came out 3♣10♠7♠ and the action went check-check to the turn Q♣. Derkowski checked, Kent bet 40,000, and Derkowski called to see the Q♦ fall on the river, pairing the board. Derkowski checked once more, and Kent checked back, which prompted Derkowski to table A♠A♦K♥3♠ for aces-up and Kent folded.
