Rheem Puts Derkowski in the Blender

Niveau 28 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Chino Rheem opened 350,000 in the cutoff and Grzegorz Derkowski defended the big blind.

The dealer spread a flop of A75, and Derkowski check-called a bet of 400,000.

When the 8 hit the turn, Derkowski took the lead, firing 1,215,000 in the middle. Rheem made the call.

The 7 paired the board on the river and Derkowski checked to Rheem who put out a pot-sized bet of 4,065,000.

Derkowski went deep in the tank asking, "Why so greedy?"

"Because you were greedy on the turn," Rheem replied.

"I was."

After about three minutes of deliberation, Derkowski mucked his hand. Rheem contemplated showing his hand as he flashed it to the massage therapist but decided to slide his cards into the muck.

"That was a bluff," piped in Dylan Weisman.
