Hoffman Leaves Friedman Frustrated
Niveau 9
: Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Adam Friedman opened from early position and received calls from Maria Ho in middle position and Max Hoffman out of the big blind.
Hoffman checked on the 2♦2♣6♦ flop and Friedman continued. Ho made the call as did Hoffman to keep action three handed heading to the turn.
The turn came 8♥ and Hoffman checked. Friedman pushed another bet into the middle, eliciting a fold from Ho. Hoffman, meanwhile, responded with a raise, which Friedman called.
Hoffman bet quickly on the 7♣ river and Friedman called just as quickly but mucked after Hoffman showed A♠8♠ for a winner.
