Marco Johnson opened from the cutoff before Anthony Marsico three-bet out of the small blind. Shyamsundar Challa called in the big blind as did Johnson to keep action three-handed heading to the flop.
Marsico bet out on the J♦J♠7♠ flop only to be met by a raise from Challa. Johnson considered then called while Marsico got out of the way.
Challa check-called a bet from Johnson on the 10♦ turn and did so again following the 2♣ river. Johnson turned over Q♣J♣ for flopped trips, eliciting an exasperated sigh from Challa, who could only watch as a large pot was shipped to his opponent.
