Robert Campbell opened on the button and was called by the small blind as well as Josh Arieh in the big blind.

Action checked to Campbell on the 2103 flop and he bet. The small blind called while Arieh opted to put in a raise. Both Campbell and the small blind made the call.

The small blind checked again following the 2 turn, prompting Arieh to bet. Campbell called but the small blind folded.

Arieh fired off once more on the 7 river with Campbell paying off the bet as Arieh showed a 10x. Campbell was left with just 2,500 after the hand and busted not long after.

Plausinaitis Wins Much Needed Pot

After action folded to the button Yuri Dzivielevski raised, was three-bet by Matthew Schreiber in the small blind, and four-bet by Paulius Plausinaitis in the big blind. Both Dzivielevski and Schreiber called.

The flop came 5Q6 and it was checked to Plausinaitis who bet, and both Dzivielevski and Schreiber called to see a turn.

On the turn was the 7 and once again Schreiber checked and Plausinaitis bet, Dzivielevski called, and Schreiber folded.

Once we were heads up, the river 6 completed the board, and both players checked.

Plausinaitis showed down AQ for top pair top kicker and took down the pot.

Hunichen Getting Short

Chris Hunichen hopped into the tournament not long ago but is already in danger of an early exit. Hunichen opened on the button and called a three-bet from the small blind.

The small blind continued on the 2J6 flop. Hunichen instantly mucked, then began thumbing through his dwindling chip stack.

Dames Flops Two Pair

Action was picked up on the turn with 24,000 chips in the pot and a board showing 6J810.

After David Lieberman checked in the big blind, Matthew Dames bet out. The bet was called by Yi Klassen in middle position, as well as Lieberman.

The river brought the 5 and once Lieberman checked, Dames made another bet. Klassen made the call, and Lieberman tossed his cards into the muck.

Dames showed 86 for a flopped two pair which was good enough to take down the pot.

Juha Helppi opened from early position before being three-bet by a player on the button. The blinds got out of the way to send the action back to Helppi, who called.

Helppi check-called a bet from his opponent on the Q2Q flop.

The 4 turn saw Helppi check again. This time he responded with a raise after his opponent fired another bet. The button player called to see a river.

The K river completed the board and Helppi bet. His opponent thought for a few moments, then called. Helppi tabled KQ for the flopped trips that had improved to a boat on the river to take down the pot and send his chip stack towards the top in the room.
