David Lieberman opened on the button and Alex Livingston defended in the big blind.
Livingston checked to Lieberman on the 7♣10♠10♣ flop and then raised after his opponent bet. Lieberman, claiming to have two overs, reluctantly released his hand to send the pot to the Canadian pro.

The $25K Fantasy league is off to a hot start with seven of the 19 teams over 100 points as of June 4. Most of those were thanks to a handful of draftees hitting field bonuses in Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions, which attracted 18,409 entrants and became the sixth-largest poker tournament of all time.
PokerNews has been tracking $25K Fantasy players in our live updates, and has even made it simple to follow the action by tagging all players with a $25K Fantasy badge. That allows you to utilize our chip count filter option to follow only those players (just tick the $25K Fantasy badge); what’s more, each blog will have a “$25K Fantasy” tab that if you click all you will see are hands played by $25K Fantasy players.
As a result, we can capture some of the biggest, best, and most game-changing hands involving the $25K Fantasy roster. Here are five from the first week of action in the 2024 WSOP.
Action was picked up on the flop on a 6♥4♥4♠ board and Johannes Becker in the small blind was facing a bet from Josh Arieh in the cutoff. Becker elected to raise, and Arieh made the call.
The turn brought the 7♥ and when Becker bet, Arieh raised Becker all in for his last 12,000 chips. After contemplating his decision, Becker did make the call.
Johannes Becker: K♠10♣
Josh Arieh: J♥9♥
Johannes was shown that he was drawing dead as Arieh turned the jack-high flush, and after the 2♣ on the river, Becker was officially eliminated.

Andrew Kelsall opened from middle position and received calls from Jared Bleznick on the button as well as Emery Martindale out of the small blind.
Action checked to Bleznick on the A♦8♥4♥ flop and he tossed out a bet. Martindale called while Kelsall folded to send action to the turn.
The board pairing A♥ turn saw both players check through to the K♥ river at which point Martindale bet. Bleznick called but could not beat the Q♣Q♥ of Martindale.

John Elliott opened from early position and David Lieberman three-bet from one seat over. Elliott put in the four-bet once action folded back to him to leave himself with just a few chips behind. Lieberman called, essentially setting up the all in.
Elliott committed his last few chips to the pot on the A♠3♣8♣ flop with Lieberman putting him at risk.
John Elliott: K♣K♦
David Lieberman: A♣J♠
Elliott had been outflopped to leave himself drawing thin. No help came on the 4♥ turn or 3♦ river to hand Lieberman the knockout while sending Elliott out of the tournament.
