Check in the Dark
Niveau 14
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
The player on the button raised to 11,000, and Curtiss Wood in the big blind made the call. Wood checked in the dark.
The flop came out as 9♣4♦2♣, and the button bet 13,000, and Wood called.
"Check in the dark," called Wood. The turn came Q♥, and the button checked behind.
Wood bet out 15,000 on the river J♣, and the button said, "I hate your check in the dark," and Wood apologized. The button called, and Wood flopped over 5♦5♠.
The button said, "Your pair of fives are good."
Wood stated, "I love when people almost have me beat, that's the best part."
