Richards Doubles Up Against Nam
Niveau 20
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Connor Richards opened the action from early position with a raise to 32,000, and Warren Nam called from the big blind.
On the 2♥J♥Q♣ flop, Nam bet 45,000, and Richards, after some consideration, went all in for around 210,000. Nam quickly called.
Connor Richards: K♠Q♠
Warren Nam: 10♦9♦
Richards was ahead with a pair of queens, but Nam had an open-ended straight draw. The 10♣ on the turn and the 4♦ on the river didn't change the outcome, and Richards doubled up.
