Kornuth Strikes Back
Niveau 1
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Action was picked up in a four-way pot with Galen Hall in the big blind and Chance Kornuth on the button.
The flop read Q♥8♥5♥ and all players checked to the 6♠ turn where action checked around to Kornuth who bet 5,500. The small blind folded and Hall raised to 21,000 which only Chance called.
On the river 10♠, Hall bet 40,000, prompting Kornuth to use a time extension. Kornuth counted out the call, looked over to Hall and then tossed it into the center.
Hall tabled A♥5♦ for just a pair of fives and a flush blocker, which was no good against Kornuth's K♥Q♣ for top pair.
