Plausinaitis Hits River to Double
Niveau 6
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
The action was caught on the turn, with around 130,000 in the pot on the 2♣2♦9♠J♦ board.
Paulius Plausinaitis jammed for around 98,000 from the small blind. His opponent was Stephen Chidwick, who mulled over his options before calling as the bigger stack.
Paulius Plausinaitis: Q♦10♦
Stephen Chidwick: 9♥7♥
Plausinaitis had an open-ender in addition to his overcards and the Q♥ river gave him the best hand to dent Chidwick's stack.
