Rough Ride for Chidwick
Niveau 7
: 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Joseph Cheong opened to 10,000 from the cutoff and was called by Stephen Chidwick in the small blind. John Kincaid three-bet to 50,000 from the big blind, folding out Cheong. Chidwick then back-jammed as the bigger stack and was snapped off by Kincaid, who had 181,000.
John Kincaid: Q♣Q♦
Stephen Chidwick: 5x5x
Kincaid's ladies remained best as the board ran out with the 3♠8♣6♣K♦J♣.
The following hand, Chidwick put in his last 35,000 and Paulius Plausinaitis called from the big blind.
Stephen Chidwick: A♦4♦
Paulius Plausinaitis: J♣8♣
Plausinaitis received an above-average flop as the dealer fanned the J♠4♣3♣. The 3♦ turn offered no help to Chidwick, who was eliminated after the 8♠ river.
