2024 WSOP $25K Fantasy Hands of the Week: Negreanu Flips Big and a Miracle Queen for Jaka

The $25K Fantasy league is off to a hot start with seven of the 19 teams over 100 points as of June 4. Most of those were thanks to a handful of draftees hitting field bonuses in Event #5: $1,000 Mystery Millions, which attracted 18,409 entrants and became the sixth-largest poker tournament of all time.

Unsal stood pat while Hale drew one. Unsal then bet, Hale raised, and Unsal called.

Both players stood pat and Hale bet. Unsal called again, then mucked when Hale showed 7-6-5-3-2.

David "ODB" Baker called the under the gun player's bet from the small blind. Baker drew one and the under the gun player drew two.

After calling his opponent's bet, Baker stood pat and the under the gun player drew one. Baker bet and was called by his opponent.

On the last street Baker stood pat and his opponent drew one. Baker bet and was called by the under the gun player. Baker tabled 7-6-5-4-2 and his opponent flashed 7-4-3-2 and withheld his final card before mucking his hand.

Hye Park was in the small blind when the player on the button raised and he was the only caller. Park drew two and the button drew one. The button bet and Park called.

Both players drew one card and both checked. On the last street Park stood pat and the player on the button drew one. Park check-raised the player on the button and took down the pot.

Krescanko Busts One in Massive Four-Way Pot

After a series of raises before the first draw, Mike Krescanko Sr., Michael Rodrigues, and a player under the gun each took two while the big blind drew one.

The under-the-gun player then bet, Rodrigues raised, Krescanko and the big blind called, but the initial better reraised. All three opponents called.

Everyone except Rodrigues drew one on the second draw, while Rodrigues stood pat. The under-the-gun player bet again, Rodrigues raised again, and all three players called with the under-the-gun player putting in his last chips.

"Pair them up," the under-the-gun player said as the blinds took one, while Rodrigues also took one. Krescanko then led out and the big blind called, while Rodrigues folded.

Krescanko showed 8-7-5-4-2 and the under-the-gun player flashed a 10 before mucking as he headed for the rail.

Yuri Dzivielevski recently joined this table, which also includes Lynda Tran.

Bronshtein Emerges From a Fair Fight

A player in the hijack raised before Yuval Bronshtein reraised on the button. "Hmm, do I want to draw five?" the big blind joked before folding. The hijack called and both players drew two.

"Fair fight," Bronshtein said as the cutoff led out with a bet. Bronshtein then raised and his opponent called.

Both players drew one. "Still fair," the cutoff said as she check-called a bet. Bronshtein then patted while his opponent took one.

"Not fair," the cutoff said as she folded after Bronshtein bet. Bronshtein showed 7-6-5-4-2 as he took the pot.
