Dzivielevski and Ruben Both Seeking Fifth Bracelet in $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship

Yuri Dzivielevski

A starting field of 259 hopefuls has been reduced to just 13 going into Day 3 of Event #24: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better Championship inside the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. They will all be chasing the top prize of $536,713 resulting from a $2,408,700 prize pool. Robert Tanita leads the pack after bagging up 2,990,000 last night, which is more than a million more than his next-closest competitor Joao Simao, who ended with 1,840,000.

Also still in contention are a pair of four-time bracelet winners — Yuri Dzivielevski (1,275,000) and Brad Ruben (565,000). Both players have seen massive success in mixed games and, interestingly, none of the duo’s combined eight bracelets have come from Hold’em events. Ruben won his last bracelet in a $1,500 Dealer’s Choice event back in 2022, while Dzivielevski’s most recent came from a $10,000 PLO event during the 2023 WSOP Online last September.
