Vampan Sends Rast to the Rail

Niveau 12 : Limits 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Brian Rast moved all in preflop and was called by Daniel Vampan and one other player to put him at risk.

On the flop 542, Vampan bet and his opponent called to see the 10 peel on the turn.

Vampan bet again and his opponent folded, awarding him the side pot while the cards were tabled.

Brian Rast: A6
Daniel Vampan: A3

Rast needed a three to stay alive against Vampan's flopped straight, but the river was the J to send him to the rail.

Bleznick in Bad Shape, Still Gets There

Niveau 10 : Limits 2,000/4,000, 0 ante
Jared Bleznick
Jared Bleznick

After some betting preflop, a player moved all in blind and Jared Bleznick announced a call. The flop came out Q54 and the cards were tabled.

Opponent: 33
Jared Bleznick: 67

"Oh I'm in such bad shape," Bleznick admitted as his opponent was blocking his straight outs and had a flush draw with his pair.

None of these things mattered, however, as Bleznick is the best player in the room and the turn just peeled off the 8 to give him a straight. The river was the brick 5 to win him the pot and sent his opponent to the rail.

Caltabiano Scores Double KO; Wasserson Rebuys

Niveau 8 : Limits 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

After a raise preflop, Eric Wasserson moved all in for 6,000 and was called by Nick Caltabiano and the small blind.

The two players on the side checked through the 634 flop but then the small blind moved all in on the turn A and Caltabiano called.

Eric Wasserson: J8
Small Blind: AJ
Nick Caltabiano: A3

Caltabiano was well in the lead with his aces and threes, and the river was the brick 2 for him to scoop the pot, eliminating both players. Wasserson then immediately headed to the rebuy desk and has been reseated.

Deng Scoops with Set

Niveau 8 : Limits 1,500/3,000, 0 ante

On a multi-way flop of 10J8, Ken Deng bet, then the under-the-gun player raised and another player called along with Deng.

The turn was the 2 and Deng checked, Player 1 bet and Player 2 called but Deng raised. Player 1 called, and Player 2 called for less, putting himself all in.

On the river A, Deng bet and Player 1 hesitated a few seconds before he shook his head and made the call.

Deng then flipped over JJ for a flopped set of jacks which was good to take down the substantial pot and eliminated Player 2.
