Farha Loses Some, Then Wins More Back
John Bunch raised from the cutoff to 165,000 chips and Sammy Farha called on the button.
The J♠7♦9♦ flop was then checked through before Farha check-called a 325,000 bet on the A♦ turn.
The A♣ river completed the board. Both players checked again and Bunch showed A♥K♦K♣4♥4♦ for the best possible flush. Farha could not beat that as his hand disappeared into the muck.
A few hands later, Farha opened for 200,000 chips in middle position and Damjan Radanov called in the hijack. Two checks followed on the 6♦8♠Q♦ flop. Farha then bet out for 550,000 on the K♣ turn, receiving a call from Radanov.
On the 9♣ river, Farha shoved all in. Radanov instantly forfeited his cards, after which Farha showed A♠J♥10♠4♥2♣ for the nut straight.
